City Ordinances
The City of Portsmouth has, in the past, purchased large ordinance books from Walter H. Drane Company. This process included annual updates that included replacing many of the pages in the ordinance book with new pages. Now, we still keep a few of these books on hand, but the Walter H. Drane Company now hosts our Codified Ordinances and our City Charter online.
The ordinances are updated faster, offer search capabilities, and are much easier to use than a large book.
