The Scioto Foundation Board of Governors has awarded The Boneyfiddle Project $4,000 for the fabrication and installation of the Second Street West End Sign. This iron sign will greet visitors traveling westbound into the Historic Boneyfiddle District.
The unveiling of the sign took place during intermission of The Boneyfiddle Project(TBF) Final Friday’s June Concert, a free outdoor concert hosted on the last Friday of every month. Since 2015, TBF has hosted over 35 Final Friday’s concerts ranging from Blue Grass, Jazz, Classic Rock, County as well as other genres. Roughly 500 people were in attendance at June’s concert to view the unveiling.

For those interesting in applying for a grant through the Scioto Foundation, awards are made on a quarterly basis in categories of the arts, education, community development, social services and health. Eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofits interested in applying, may do so by submitting the standard grant application at any time.
