Riverfront Development Project
We are pleased to unveil the design elements for the Portsmouth Appalachian Community Grant Program, Riverfront Improvement Project which will begin construction late summer/early fall, following the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers permitting approval. These grant funds are being administered by our friends at Ironton/Lawrence County Community Action Organization and the construction contract has been awarded to Allard Excavation.
We feel these plans represent a unique river destination that truly embodies the spirit of Portsmouth.
