POSITION OPENING – ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CITY MANAGER
Applicants must be able to plan and recommend organizational policies and performance strategies; provide a variety of specialized complex administrative and management tasks to support decision making and strategic direction.
Common tasks will consist of administering HR policies and procedures, ensuring compensation and benefits are in line with policies and legislation, supporting the management of disciplinary and grievance issues, maintaining employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) and administering employee benefits and coordinating employee safety, welfare and wellness.
Applicants will perform a wide variety of responsible, complex and confidential administrative duties in support of the City Manager, duties that require considerable confidentiality, strong ethics and reliability, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary range is $24,814 to $39,375.
